What we do

We cut hedges. We reduce overgrown ones. We remove the ones that have to go, and grind the stump so nothing is left to trip over. And we prune and take down mature trees where they've outgrown a garden or a boundary.

That's it. We don't do lawn care, fencing or the rest of the garden-services bundle. Hedges and trees are a craft worth being good at, and we keep our focus narrow so we are.

Why we itemise every quote

Most hedge quotes are a single number pulled out of the air. Ours is three: labour and equipment, waste disposal, and access. That's because those are the three things that actually move the price on a Sittingbourne job - a hedge with a skip-lorry's worth of leylandii arisings costs more to dispose of than one with a bin bag's worth, and a hedge you can reach from the pavement costs less than one needing a tower behind a locked side gate. Splitting it out means you can see exactly what you're paying for, and challenge any line that looks wrong.

• Conservation-area paperwork handled. If your address needs a section-211 notice, we file it. Included, never a line item.
• All arisings cleared. We carry an Environment Agency upper-tier waste-carrier registration. Clippings are chipped or taken to the Gas Road recycling centre, never burned on site.
• Bank transfer or cash. Invoice or receipt either way.

What you won't get

• A single vague number with no breakdown.

• A botched cut to compensate for not telling you the hedge actually needs a reduction.
